Coca-Cola chooses Renold Syno

Endorsements don't come much higher than the world's biggest brand name. Renold has yet another multi-national company under its belt with one of the largest bottling plants in the UK choosing Renold for all its chain requirements.

The Coca-Cola site in Enfield specified standard attachment chain, high performance Renold Synergy and non-lube Renold Syno for applications including rinser machines, tray carriers, cardboard feeders and overhead carriers.

Previously experiencing problems with chain not withstanding the conditions; drink spillages were preventing lubrication penetrating into the pin and bush bearing area, Renold Syno was a clear solution and has been successfully rolled out across all the problem areas in the plant.

Rinser machinery was fitted with the stainless steel variant of Renold Syno for additional corrosion protection and Renold Synergy has been installed on main drives in areas unaffected by contamination from sugary drinks.

The entire plant runs chain from Renold, the site survey has given the maintenance team the reassurance of a total service commitment and the improved performance of their production lines is a testament to the standard of product they have specified.
